Singers on all levels, from all over the world, come to me for help and online lessons. They have read or heard that my teacher and the iconic Maria Callas had the same singing teacher, so they know that I am one of the few old school Bel Canto vocal coaches in the world.
Maria Callas said this about their teacher:
"Hidalgo had the real great training, maybe even the last great training of the real Bel Canto."
(1968 interview with Lord Harewood).
Some of the most common problems singers have are these:
Difficulties singing or holding high notes, uneven register, not sure where to place the voice (very few knows how to do this), running ouf of breath when they try to sing long sections or phrases, tension in their jaw, neck and/or shoulders, and sore or tired throat from singing or speaking, but the list goes on.
All of these issues usually have ONE common root problem: lack of proper breathing technique.
The breath has to support the voice so the voice is ON TOP OF the breath, with NO audible breath coming out when you sing.
ALL of the singers who come to me for help have learned to breathe the opposite way of how you are supposed to do it.
Even the ones with master degrees as opera singers have no idea what they are doing wrong, but they just know something IS very wrong!
They don't know that breathing with the diaphragm is the foundation for everything, or let alone WHAT it truly means, and HOW they should do it.
If you are one of those singers IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!
There are hardly any vocal coaches who knows the Bel Canto technique nowadays, despite the fact that ALL the legends of opera were Bel Canto singers.
Once I teach singers how to breathe with their diaphragm, they go through a complete transformation as singers. They cannot believe how easy it all of a sudden is to sing what was previously hard or impossible.
Now you can experience that too.
It only takes 10 minutes a day to get results!
70% of those who use their voice in a professional capacity develop throat and voice problems. It is shocking!! The root problem is very often poor breathing technique.
Take control of your breathing technique now, so it can support your voice in a healthy manner, making it easy for you to sing high notes effortlessly, or keep speaking for hours, without fatigue or a sore throat.
Unleash the true beauty and potential of your voice
Bretathing with your diaphragm is also a VERY useful tool for pain management, reduce stress, let go of tensions, and it is great for meditation. The overall health and well being benefits of breathing better are quite impressive.
